Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ClientRelay ("the Service"), operated by ClientRelay Technologies ("the Operator"), based in Norway, you ("the User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In that case, "you" and "User" refer to that entity.

ClientRelay is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables users to create, train, and deploy AI-powered chatbot assistants for their clients. The Service includes:

You must authenticate via Google OAuth to access the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You must not share your access or allow unauthorized use of your account.

5.1 Knowledge Base Data Responsibility

Important: Any content you add to your chatbot's knowledge base — including text snippets, uploaded documents, Q&A pairs, and crawled website data — may be used by the AI to generate responses visible to your website visitors and end users. The Operator has no control over how the AI model uses this content in its responses.

You are solely responsible for:

The Operator strongly recommends that you only upload publicly available information or non-sensitive business content (such as product descriptions, FAQs, company policies, and user guides) to the knowledge base, and that you carefully review any custom instructions or external sources you configure. The Operator shall not be liable for any data exposure, misinformation, or third-party claims resulting from content you choose to upload or instructions you configure.

6. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service (knowledge base text, documents, Q&A pairs). The Operator does not claim ownership of your content.

You grant the Operator a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., generating AI responses based on your knowledge base).

7. AI-Generated Content

Chatbot responses are generated by third-party AI models (Google Gemini). The Service relies on third-party providers (including AI and hosting services) to function. The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated responses. You are responsible for reviewing and monitoring your chatbot's output.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and processing of data as described therein.

The User acts as data controller for any personal data processed through the Service, and the Operator acts as data processor on the User's behalf.

11. Termination

The Operator may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. The Operator may delete your data after a reasonable retention period following termination, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Molde, Norway.

13. Changes to Terms

The Operator may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the dashboard or email.
